Mandawa fort
It is a must-see attraction of the town. It was built in the 18th century by Thakur Nawal Singh. As you approach the fort you will be amazed to see the gateway of this magnificent structure which is lavishly painted with the pictures of Lord Krishna and his cows. The interiors of the fort are decorated with beautiful frescoes which reflects the medieval theme. As you explore the stunning apartments of the fort you will find amazing attractions like mesmerizing paintings of Lord Krishna, exquisite carvings and fabulous mirror work. Once the royal abode of the monarchs, now the fort has been converted into a heritage hotel where tourists can live large like the erstwhile kings.


Mandawa Havelis
Definitely the trip to Mandawa is incomplete without visiting its stunning havelis. Their artistic architecture, flawless craftsmanship and amazing interior decoration leave the onlookers completely enchanted. Each haveli has its own history and charm. Some of the must-see havelis of Mandawa are:

Hanuman Prasad Goenka Haveli
It is a beautiful haveli adorned with arresting paintings. Among all the paintings, the painting of Indra Dev riding an elephant and Lord Shiva on Nandi bull deserve special mention.

Goenka Double Haveli
The facade of horses and elephants at the entrance of this haveli make it very attractive. Both the exterior and interior of this majestic structure are decorated with beautiful paintings.

Murmuria Haveli
It is a fine example of the perfect combination of the East and West. You can treat your eyes with several paintings here.
