Jaipur the Pink city of India is renowned across the globe for its charismatic natural beauty and architectural grandeur. Hawa Mahal
This marvellous piece of architecture also called as palace of winds or palace of the breeze. It was built in 1799 by the Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh for the women of royal families to enjoy their leisure by seeing street procession. This is a five storied pyramid shaped façade made up of red and pink sandstone. The charm of this grand structure lies in its small screened balconies and arched roofs with hanging cornices. The foremost attraction of this mind blowing building is its 900 small windows decorated with lattice work. This pink sandstone window called as Jharokhas which resembles like giant honeycomb when seen from distance. It is the specimen of fanciful architecture which is much visited by every tourist during their Jaipur Tour.


Nahargarh Fort
It is one of the three forts of Jaipur which was built by Maharaja Jai Sawai Singh. This fort is renowned for its magnificent construction, delicate design, beautiful interior and its location atop the Aravalis mountain range. The fort was built in 1734 and successive rulers had made several additions to it which heightens its charm and glory. This fort is named after a Rathore prince Nahar Singh whose spirit haunts this site. It is a multi storied fort which has nine suites one for each of the nine queens of the maharajah. These suites are renowned for marvellous construction, design and decorations. The walls of suites were adorned with Belgian mirrors which can be still be seen by tourists during their visit to this place. Each suite has the same design of floral and bird motifs. The doors and windows were festooned with coloured panes some of which are still intact.
